There was a brief period of time, during my senior year in medical school when the pressure had lessened, that I began to experiment with abstract photography again. This was a lake at my apartment complex, a dragon fly on a palm frond that reminded me of the Jimi Hendrix song, Spanish Castle Magic. But it needed something else. I had just traded my old camera gear for a Nikon FE, that had double exposure capability. I made the exposure of the palm frond then turned the camera to the afternoon sky to make an exposure of the moon, which is a daylight exposure so I did not need a tripod. This image reflects what I felt.
