Previous After college I went to graduate school then medical school.  It was a time without much photography.  During this time, and for a couple of decades, my photography became less abstract and more linear, as my mind became more linear.  It had to, because of my career as a surgeon.  Decades later, however, (after I retired) I began to explore the surreal and the abstract again.  During the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic I decided to photograph the remnants of a World War II Japanese Internment Camp, Minidoka.  I used a pinhole camera and let my instincts take over again. Next
