I was not in a relaxed, open mood when I went out to photograph on this day, but the fresh snow was so beautiful that I had to go. Not long after Gracie and I arrived at the park, whatever was worrying me faded away as I watched people playing with and walking their dogs. This woman had a pattern of throwing the ball and waiting for her dog to return. Then she tossed it again and took a few steps forward. Ultimately this happened, which I am sure I probably would have missed if I were using a motor drive.
